Is your child not succeeding in school, having difficulty getting along with people, or having other emotional difficulties?
Life can be very stressful for children and they show us they are struggling by their behavior including getting in trouble at school, not making friends, not getting
along with people or just being unhappy in their life. Sometimes children need someone to work with them and their family so that they can feel and be their best. Many families have also experienced stressful events including divorce, family conflict, loss or separation from a loved one and other stressful life events. These can have a profound impact on a child's social and emotional development. I work with children and their support network (which can include family, school, and any other important people) to help children feel, act, and be their best.
Some of the challenges I can be most helpful with include:
Behavioral difficulties including not following directions, getting in trouble at school, aggression, defiance and other difficulties with emotion regulation
Attention difficulties (ADHD)
Difficulty making friends and getting along with people
Separation or loss of loved ones
Coping with difficult life experiences including witnessing or experiencing traumatic events
Low self-esteem or not feeling good about themselves and their achievements
Please contact me and we can discuss how I can be helpful to you and your child.
